So I'm now nestled in the heart of Vancouver, BC. It's a rich experience, but more importantly, it's a chance to make it big and a new start. New friends, new family, new environment. new responsibilities. It can be a bit much at time but it's certainly worth it.
My Game Design class is good. Me is study all day and are get busy. I'll be able to soak some good skills from the guys in my class and the course itself undoubtedly has some wicked 3d skills and otherwise to offer me.
By the end of the year I will be working at a professional level at industry par. I say this because I truly think that if I believe it, I have no way to not make it happen. So I practice and pump out art quite fast these days. As a result I can see my skills rapidly improving and it inspires me more.
I'm already scouting for potential employers and studios for me to be an artist for, even with grad October 2007.
Still this burst of art will sprinkle little attention on space art. Most of it will be behind DA curtains with mediums of digital painting and matte painting.
My perogies will soon be completed as planned. I depart with haste!! >>
All for now,
Cheers all,
Brennan

Hi all,
Just wanted to let you all know that for anyone who has come to know me on this account will have to move on to my new account to keep up with my work.

In hindsight I truly had an awesome time as Exntrik. Genocide-54 was my first few years discovering space art and the incredible power of digital mediums. As Exntrik I spent another couple years delving into my potential in the creative field and experimenting with a large breadth of technical exploration.
Now as BrennanPM I will take all of these experiences with me as I move forward into the professional industry, as

:bulletblue::bulletblue: News :bulletblue::bulletblue:
Today is my last day in Victoria, BC, Canada. For those of you who don't know Victoria is on a place called Vancouver Island off the West Coast of Canada. Tomorrow I move to the actual Vancouver on the mainland; the big city, the big apple.
This means my own place. Brennan Massicotte is taking it to the streets and getting on with his life away from family and friends. Excited, aprehensive, sad, and a little anxious am I.
My art should pick up as soon as I move as I expand and excercise.

Why rock is better than pop.
Next. So I just hit my rope's end as far as putting up with comments from people about how "hard rock is just so irritating/loud/annoying" and only the latest pop hits are "dope" and "good". On that note I decided to bring my fight here to with hopes to prepare a well-structured argument. So post away and add all your relevant thoughts.
This time I'm just going to try and summarize in point form that would fly easier in a discussion:
Pop
-In pop, "songs" are just iconic "artists" laid over a beat that was nominally, or simply not produced by themselves.
-It doesn't matter whose vocals are laid over the beat, because people are generally i
Bitter Flamefest
G'day all,
Today I would like to rant about anime. I view the anime artist in a general, stereotyping manner as a form of plague, or virus. It comes to the realization at a young, OR old age, that you don't need any kind of talent, or development of artistic theory and knowledge to be able to produce low quality "art", and reap massive amounts of glory and attention from other like minded individuals. They revel in their ability to butcher any communication of the human form, colour theory, or rendering thereof, and still receive overwhelming appreciation for these works.
Then to ensure that their traditions of slaughering and disgracing pr
