More neb practice...actually a neb this time though I geuss. Uuuhhmmm...my Wacom is fight. And you may witness my very own first custom made lens flare-- that's right!!
Cool colours man Think the form of the nebula could be more obvious tho, even for a speedy composition. I think it's the lighting, it's confusing because you dont know what direction anything's being lit from.
But yea, quick nebula painting could be good to develop new ideas I might doing the same frequently, instead of only doing a big piece once in a while.
Oh, and we should do a collab some time man? I like where you're with your nebula painting and we could see if we can come up with something interesting? Msn me or something
Cool man, thanks for the crits-- I did actually miss the lighting thing because it was such a sketchy development. I got inspired by those big name concept artists to try something radical...so i started from scratch by randomly airbrushing forms with my eyes closed, then Id play with layers, develop a bit, rotate, develop some more. I probably flipped and redeveloped about 5 times in the hour, but it really helped me bring out some original forms quickly. I'm not big into collabs these days but it could be pretty fun. We could do some really creative painting mix up haha. Well Ill catch ya later mate.
Good choices of color and the len flare comes out very good but I notice that the planet (is a planet, right?) on the bottom right is somewhat too blur..
hmm.. that might be all

Ah ok with your eyes closed ?! Sounds like a way fun to start things off
Yea I guess I've never really been that fond of collabs but I figure there's not real harm in working with someone to make a piece.
Anyway, maybe wait til that project with SamODJ goes ahead or something
Neither, I'll see what's up. I think I have him on msn, so it's all good I think it's a good concept, just hope it does better than our attempt with SA
